Our Story
Our journey began in the pastry kitchens at AUT, in our matching white hats and neckerchiefs. Fresh out of school and taking the first steps in pursuing our passion for pâtisserie, we found ourselves as bench buddies and we haven’t looked back since.
After finishing our studies, we dove head first into the industry—both discovering our love for the art of lamination, just on opposite sides of the world. Kelsie based herself in London and Laura in Melbourne. Shortly after reuniting back in Auckland, we came to realise that we shared the same vision, and thus began our journey as Mor.
Mor is a micro bakery with a strong focus on quality over quantity. Our offering is unique to us—a combination of our past influences, different flavours and techniques, while also giving a polite nod to the classics.
Mor was founded out of sheer love for what we do, and we love that we get to share it with you!
